A Delegation from the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine Visits Al-Ameed University to Extend Congratulations on the College of Nursing’s Achievement of Full Programmatic Accreditation

A high ranking delegation from the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine visited Al-Ameed University to extend congratulations and best wishes on the College of Nursing's attainment of full programmatic accreditation an achievement considered the first of its kind among private colleges in Iraq, and the second among reputable governmental colleges.

The delegation was headed by the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine, Sayyid Mustafa Murtadha Al-Dhyaa Al-Deen, accompanied by his deputy, Sayyid Abbas Musa Ahmed, the Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority and member of the Shrine's Board of Directors, Professor Dr. Abbas Rasheed Al-Dadah Al-Mousawi, along with several members of the Board.

They were received by the President of Al-Ameed University, Professor Dr. Joudat Noori Al-Jashaami. The delegation then proceeded to the College of Nursing, where they were welcomed by the Dean, Professor Dr. Dhia Kareem Al-Bayati, his assistant, and a number of faculty members.
During the visit, the delegation commended the significant achievement accomplished by the College, affirming that obtaining this international accreditation represents a pioneering step that enhances Al-Ameed University’s standing in the field of medical education. They emphasized that this milestone opens broad horizons for global academic recognition and contributes to supporting the College’s graduates in the job market both within Iraq and abroad.

Furthermore, the visit underscored the importance of adhering to quality standards and academic accreditation, highlighting their pivotal role in advancing the educational process and improving the efficiency of graduates in line with societal needs.
